T: Sally, can I ask you some questions?

S: Yes, certainly!

T: What classes do you have on Monday?

S:I have Math, English, Chinese, Moral Education, Art and P.E. (教师看课程表图回答)

T: We have salad, hamburgers, tomatoes and bananas for lunch. What day is it?

S: It’s Wednesday. (教师看食物表图回答)

T: What’s your favourite lunch?

S: My favourite lunch is fish, cabbage and tofu. (教师看食物表图回答)

T: Who is the new math teacher? What’s he like?

S: Mr Hu is , he is short and funny! (教师看人物表图回答)

T: Who is the new English teacher? What’s she like?

S: Miss Green is ,she is young and kind! (教师看人物表图回答)

T:Well done!刚才Tomato对Sally其实做了一个简单的interview,采访,Follow me,interviw.(拿出单词卡片带读)Now,Let’s relax! Sing a song: Our school. ( 播放四年级下册P12 Let’s sing )

T: Look, this is Willow School. Let’s walk through Willow School and talk about it! ( 教师出示Willow School挂图 )Follow me , Willow School .

T: 请看大屏幕。(屏幕上出现Willow School,Miss Green 和David 站在大门口,作谈话状)(人物图片见P38

T: Let’s listen , What are they talking about? 

  (课件配音,P39CD-ROM中Read and write的录音)

T: Look, what’s this? Yes, school newspaper,校刊。(出示实物)

  What are they doing? Yes, interview. Let’s listen, Who is interviewing whom? What are they talking about? 听听是谁在采访谁?都谈论了些什么?(听录音一遍)

T: Yes,David is interviewing Miss Green for the school newspaper. David 正在为校刊采访Miss Green. Now, Let’s talk .说说David对Miss Green采访了哪些方面的问题。

  下面请跟Sally 老师一起来读一读这些句子吧!

S:(David) What do you do on Saturdays and Sundays?

S:(Miss Green) I often read books and watch TV.

S:(David) What’s your favourite food?

S:(Miss Green) I like green beans. They are tasty and healthy.

T: Now, can you answer my questions? Work in group.

1.       What does Miss Green do on Saturdays and Sundays?

2.       What’s her favourite food? Why?

T: Take out your pencils, page 39, fill in the blanks. 拿出铅笔,和Sally 老师比一比,看谁填得又快又好吧!Ready , Go! ( 留出2-3分钟时间给学生完成)

T: It’s time to check!现在跟Sally老师一起来读一读答案吧。

T: 你们做对了吗?请在老师的指导下进行自评和互评。

Our new English teacher is Miss Green. She’s strict but kind. Green beans are her favourite food, because they’re tasty and healthy. On Saturdays and Sundays she often reads books and watches TV.

T: Let’s listen to the chant, try to understand it.(课件动画配音P39 Let’s chant)

 下面请跟Sally老师一起读一下这首chant中的句子吧。(大屏幕上出现原稿及翻译)

 Saturdays I often watch TV, 我经常星期六看电视,

 Play football and eat icecream. 踢足球,吃冰淇淋。

 Sometimes I go to Grandma’s to play. 有时我也去奶奶家玩。

 Oh, how I love Saturday! 噢!我是多么喜欢星期六啊!

 

 Sundays I usually study violin, 我通常在星期天的时候学小提琴,

 Play ping-pang and dance and sing. 打乒乓球,跳舞和唱歌。

 Sometimes I go to the zoo. 有时我也去动物园。

 Oh, how I love Sundays,too! 噢!我也是多么喜欢星期天啊!

T: 现在明白这首chant的意思了吗?“often”表示常常,经常。“usually”表示惯常,通常,是一种习惯性的行为。“sometimes”表示有时。这三个不同程度的副词用在句中,可以用来表达行为或事件发生的频率,同学们现在清楚了吗?那我们来现学现用一下吧!

T: Hello, Sally. Can I interview you for the school newspaper?

S: Yes, certainly!

T: What’s your favourite food?

S: My favourite food is noodles.

T: What do you do on weekends?

S: On Saturdays, I often have a party. On Sundays, I usually go shopping.

T: Thank you ,Sally.

S: You are welcome.

   She is an English teach. Her name is Sally.Her favourite food is noodles. On Saturdays she often has a party!. On Sundays she usually goes shopping.

   Now, it’s your turn.同学们,你们能将采访到的信息给大家汇报吗?At first, have a try in groups.

T: Stop here. Can you present your description now? 下面你们能展开自己的描述了吗?

T: Now, let’s do some exercises. 现在让我们做书上的练习,请同学们翻开书41面,拿出笔,听录音根据你所听到的内容将相应的图片圈出来。准备好了吗?请听录音(播放练习录音)

T: Finished? 完成了吗?我们一起来订正一下。

T: 1.Jack的中餐有胡萝卜,黄瓜,鸡肉和葡萄,显然应该是三副图中的中间一副。

  2.最喜欢的一天中有体育课和美术课,看到38页中左下角的表格,不难发现,答案是星期一,所以圈出左边一副图。

  3.根据描述,胡老师是一位男士,个子不高,还有点瘦,左右两边都是男士,但左边的比右边的瘦,因此答案就是左边一副图了。

T: 同学们,你们圈对了吗?

现在让我们再来做一些练习,看看今天学习的知识你们都掌握了吗?
