一、教学目标与要求

1.能够听、说、认读Let's read部分的对话。

2. 能够根据对话内容回答文后的问题。

3. 能够就自己的理想状况进行讨论。

二、教学重、难点分析

1.教学重点:
能够听说认读Let’s read部分的句子并能够根据对话内容回答短文后的问题

2. 教学难点:
全面掌握和理解对话并做出正确回答,能够用第三人称转述对话。
三. 课前准备:
1)教学过程中所需的录音和课件。
2)本单元的词组卡片和图片。
3)职业的图片和单词卡片。
四、教学过程:

一、Warm up 

1. Let’s sing:What are you going to do?
2. Let’s chant:


3. Free talk:

T:Boys and girls, everyday we do many different things. Now can you tell me: What do you usually do?

S1: I usually…

S2: I usually …

T: And what about this weekend? What are you going to do this weekend?

S3:I’m going to …

S4:I’m going to …

Then let the Ss ask and answer one by one:

What are you going to do this weekend? I’m going to…

二、Presentation/ Pratice

1. Show T's studuent.

CAI: Hello! My name is Lily. I’m 12 years old. I’m very busy at the weekends. I like English very much.In the morning,I listen to English. In the afternoon, I read English . Do you know why? Because I want to be an English teacher.

2.Ask and answer.

(1)What does my student do at the weekends?.

(2) Why does she do that?.

(3) T:Do you want to be an English teacher?

Ss:Yes/No.

2、引出并教学What else和want to be

CAI: Let the students choose and say: I want to be a… .

3. 引导学生理解:use any...

T: Where can we read books?

S1: In the bookstore.

T:What else?

S2:In the library/At school/At home/On the computer/…

T: OK. Let’s go to the bookstore this weekend.

Are you going to use any books?

Ss: Yes,I’m going to use some books.

T: Which books are you going to read?

S:I’m going to read books about …

CAI: Show many books, then let the Ss practice in pairs.

A:Are you going to use any books?

B:Yes, I’m going to use some books.

A:Which books are you going to read?

B:I’m going to read books about …

4. listen to the dialogue and answer the questions .

T: I know this weekend you are going to the bookstore.What about Sarah?Now please listen to the dialogue and answer the questions:

CAI: (1) What is Sarah going to do this weekend?

      (2) What does she need(需要)?(Teacher explains the meaning of “need”.For example:I’m going to plant flowers.So I need some water.)

      (3) Is she going to use any books?

5.Let the Ss open the books and read the dialogue,then fill in

the blanks.Then choose four Ss to write the answer on the paper.

6.Let the Ss watch the videos and read after it.Then read it togther or in groups.

7.Underline the key words and phrases: need, use, a magazine about plants, What else?, I want to be…

三.Extension and consolidation.

1.Show a new dialogue, let the Ss read it.

2.Answer the questions, Write the answers on the paper, then check the answers.

  (1)What is John going to do this Saturday?

  (2)Where is Amy going this Saturday?

  (3)What is John going to buy in the shoe store?

  (4)What does John want to be?

  (5)What does Amy want to be?

  (6)Are they going to the bookstore together?

3.Homework:

(1) Read the diaogue after class.

(2) Write a short passage about your friend, according the key sentences:

My friend is… He is… years old. He usually…  Sometimes he… He likes… He is going to… He wants to be…
