第二课时

一 教学目标

1.知识目标:

① 学生能听懂,会说本课对话。

       ② 学生能在设置的情景中灵活运用句型:“It has…… ”;“ Look at……”;“It’s so……”。

2.技能目标:

① 培养学生在一定的语境中运用所学语言进行交际的能力。

       ② 培养学生的观察力和想象力,激发学生的思维,培养学生运用语言的创造能力。

3.情感目标:培养学生爱护动物和欣赏大自然的情感。

二 教学重点和难点

①重点:句型“Look at……”;“It has……and……”;“It’s so……”。

②难点:单词children和funny的正确读音。have 和 has 的对比和运用,让学生在练习中得以掌握。

            

㈠复习热身

1 师生一起表演唱英语歌曲《Hello》。

    T::Hello,Children.do oh do!

    Ss :Hello,Miss Zhang,do oh do!

T: Hello,children,do oh do!

T and Ss: Hello,Hello.Hello!

【设计意图】教师采用歌曲对唱的方式活跃课堂气氛,并让学生初步感知生词children

2 观看光盘,师生一起做Let’s do。

Tall,tall,tall,

Make yourself tall.

Big,big,big,

Make your eyes big.

Long,long,long,

Make your arms long.

Short,short,short,

Make yourself short.

Small,small,small,

Make your eyes small.

 Short,short,short,

Make your arms short.

㈡呈现新课

1.教学句子:Look at……It’s so……

1.教学句子:Look at……It’s so……

 (1).T:   OK! Children, please guess. What’s in the pencil-case? I can tell you. It’s an animal. It’s black and small .It has a small head and a long tail. What is it?(多媒体显示)

S1: A …

S2: A …

T: Yes, it’s  a mouse. Look at the mouse, is it big?(最好有东西与之对比)

S: No, it’s small.

T: What is it? 同时呈现一只大象 Is it small?

Ss: No, it’s big.

T: Wow, it’s so big.(引出此句) Look at the mouse. Wow! It’s so small.


板书 Look at… Wow! It’s so small.

Let some Ss try to say.

 T: Guess. What’s under my box?


     It has a long body and a small head.

T: Yes. It’s a snake. 然后教师引导学生讲Look at the …. Wow! It’s so...

S2: Look at the snake. Wow! It’s so long.

2. Show some pictures. Let Ss try to describe.

3. 呈现并教学句子:It has…及单词tail

Look! So many animals. I like all the animals. They are my friends. Guess “ Who’s my best friend?然后教师逐句呈现以下句子,学生不断在提供的信息下猜

     It has four legs.

     It has a big head.

     It has small ears.

     It has two big ears.

It is black and white.

T: Yes. It’s a panda. And it has a short tail.

Show many tails.

T: Whose tail is it?

  Whose has a short/long tail?

4. Let Ss say something about T’s best animal friend.

等学生讲得差不多了,教师让他们一起来完整读读

T: Now let’s say it beautifully.

教师将以上的句子整理如下:I have a friend. It’s a panda. Look at the panda. It has… and a short tail.

5. T: This is my animal friend. It has … And you’re my friends, too. Look at you. Who has a big head /big eyes, too? (arms/hair/mouth/nose/ears/legs)

 用句型He has/ She has …(板书)

(三)课文教学

1. Look. She has two big eyes, too. Today she’s going to the zoo. Let’s go with her. Please listen to the tape. Then teacher asks two questions.

A. Which animal do you know?

B Can you describe the elephant?

2. Read and act.

(四)教学拓展

Group work

Describe the animal in group.(用上这节课所学的句型)

T: Look children. Amy has just received a letter from the zoo. It is said:动物园的小动物们正忙着筹划夏日篝火晚会,欢迎广大小朋友带着自己的小动物前来报名参加。以下是报名参加要求:

要求:给小动物做一个简短的介绍。

It has ________.

四人小组情景会话:把学生带来的动物玩具摆放成一个“动物园”的形式,每小组可根据自己的喜好描述其中一个动物,并用所学语言进行交流,再请一位学生上台演说,评选出优秀小组。
