PEP7 Unit3 B Let’s talk 说课稿(全英文)

Ladies and gentlemen, It’s my great pleasure to be here sharing my lesson with you. The content of my is lesson is <PEP Primary English> Book7 Unit3 Part B let’s talk .This lesson includes three parts: Let's try, Let’s talk and Pair work. In section 1, enable Ss to listen and find out: What is Sarah going to buy after school? What is Chen Jie going to buy after school? In section 2, the sentences: Where are you going this afternoon? What are you going to buy? When are you going? Will be talked about. Make the Ss use the sentences in the real situations. In section 3, the students work in pairs, make a survey :“Where are you going ? What are you going to do there? When are you going?” and write down the results.

II.     Teaching aims
1. Aims on the knowledge:

①    Enable the Ss to listen, speak, read the questions start with the words:what, where, when. And the answers. Make sure that Ss can use

these sentences in real situations.

②    Enable the Ss to listen, speak, read and write the sentences: "Where

are you going this afternoon? I’m going to the bookstore. What are you going to buy? I am going to buy a comic book"

③    Enable the Ss to understand the content of Let’s try, and

find out: What are Sarah and Chen Jie going to buy after school?

④ Enable Ss to make survey of other’s activities in the future.

   2. Aims on the abilities
 ① To develop Ss' abilities of listening , speaking, reading and writing..
 ② To train the Ss' ability of working in groups.
 ③ To foster Ss' abilities of communication and their innovation.

   3. Aims on the emotion
      ① To foster Ss' consciousness of good co-operation and proper

competition.
      ② To lead Ss to be in the good habit of making time in the future..

III.               Key-points of this lesson
(1) To help Ss ask and answer the questions: Where are you going ? What are you going to buy? When are you going ? and communicate

      the information.

(2) To enable Ss to study in groups and co-operate skillfully.
(3) To develop Ss' interest in English.

Ⅳ.Difficult points
①To help the Ss use the sentences about the questions start with the word: where, what, when. And can use it in the real situations.

② To help the Ss use the future tense.

V. Teaching methods
As we all know: the main instructional aims of learning English in primary school is to cultivate pupils' basic abilities of listening ,speaking, reading and writing and their good sense of the English language. So in this lesson I'll mainly use "Task-based" teaching method. I will arrange five kinds of activities: chanting, listening, words game, pair work and having a competition. And in this lesson a recorder, CIA, the word cards will be needed.

VI. Teaching procedures and purposes of my designing.
I'll finish this lesson in 3 steps.

Step1 warm up & preview

1.       Greeting.

2.     Let’s chant: I’m going to buy a book …… (PEP7 Unit3)

3.      Go over the phrases:

read a magazine, take a trip, go to the cinema, comic book, post card…

4.        words spelling game:

have a competition in groups to spell the words and phrases: post card, comic book, newspaper, this morning, this afternoon, this evening, next week.

Purpose: It is important to form a better English learning surrounding for

the Ss by singing and chanting and at the same time it provides situations

to review learned knowledge for the next step.

Step 2. presentation

1.      Present “Fruit Stand” “Pet Shop”

From “words spelling game” to show the picture “bookstore”

T: We can buy newspaper, post card, comic book in the …

Ss: Bookstore.

T: We can buy sneakers, sandals, slippers in the …

Ss: Shoe store.

T: We can buy apples, bananas, oranges in the …

Ss: Fruit Stand.

T: We can buy cat, dog, rabbit for pet in the …

Ss: Pet shop

Practice the phrases “Fruit stand” “Pet shop”

Have a competition in groups.

Purpose: To present the words by reviewing the words and game is much easier for the Ss to learn and grasp the meanings. Proper competition can arouse the Ss' interest in English learning.

2.      Present “Where are you going? What are you going to buy? When are you going?”

①    From practice the phrases.

T: I like shopping. I will go shopping this weekend

Show a picture of sun.

T: Look, the weather will be fine this weekend. Where are you going this weekend?

Show the pictures of bookstore, shoe store, fruit stand, pet shop.

Ss: I’m going to the bookstore.

Click the picture of bookstore. Go into the bookstore. There are many books there.

T: What are you going to buy?

S: I’m going to buy a comic paper.

(When the Ss talking about the newspaper, emphasize “a piece of newspaper.” )

T point to the watch.

T: When are you going?

Ss: I’m going at 3 o’clock. (show the example for the Ss)

②    Practice the sentences “Where are you going? What are you going to buy? When are you going?”

 Purpose: Use CAI to show the pictures for Ss. CAI can provide a real situation for students to understand well. It will make the students be interested in English.

③    Let’s chant

Let Ss ask me “Where are you going? What are you going to buy? When are you going?”

I answer the question :I’m going to the bookstore. I’m going to buy a magazine. I’m going at 3’clock.

Let’s chant:

Where, where, where are you going?

I’m going to the bookstore.

What, what, what are you going to buy?

I’m going to buy a magazine.

When, when, when are you going?

I’m going at 3 o’clock.

④    Let’s try: choose the words “where, when, what”

     1.  ______ are you going to do?

                            I’m going to read books.

2.   ______ are you going? 

                            I’m going at 10 o’clock.

3.   ______ are you going to buy?

                            I’m going to buy a comic book.

4.   ______ are you going this weekend?

                            I’m going to the cinema.

5.   ______ are you going?

                            I’m going to the bookstore.

 

 

⑤    Let’s try: listen and find out

T: Sarah and Chen Jie are going to the bookstore, too.

   What are they going to buy? When are they going? Listen

Ss listen to the tape and find out.

Purpose: It is very important to train the students’ ability of listening in English learning. So, let the students to listen and finish the sentences can improve their ability of listening, also it can review the new phrases what they have learned.

⑥    Let’s talk

T: Sarah is going to the bookstore after school, she’s going to buy a dictionary. Chen Jie is going to the bookstore, too. She’s going to buy a comic book. Let’s see.

Ss watch the VCD to understand the dialogue.

Act the dialogue in groups .

 

Step 3. consolidation

T: All of you do good job. Here is a ticket of <Happy Dictionary>, do you want to go with me?

Ss: OK.

T: You will meet Wang Xiaoya. And here are 3 challenges for you. Let’s do.

Challenge1:pair workSs work in pairs to make a interview “Where are you going? What are you going to do there? When are you going?” Then write down the result.

Firstly, T lead the way for Ss

(T interview S) (Ss interview T), write down: shoe store, buy a pair of boots, 5 o’clock.

Challenge2: Make a dialogue according to the interview in pairs, then act it out.

Challenge3: Let’s sing (PEP7 Unit3)

T: congratulation boys and girl, I’m very proud of you. Thank you.

Purpose: Different interesting activities can make a good English learning surrounding for the Ss , at the same time it provides situations to go over the new words , phrase and sentences what they have learned this class. Task-based teaching methods is used here to develop Ss' ability of communication and also their ability of co-operation will be well trained.

5.     Homework

 1.  Copy the sentences.

 2.  Ask your parents the activities they will do , then, write down.

 3.  Say the chant and sing the song after class.

 

Purpose: Revision is so important that Ss should speak English as much as they as in class or after class. It is necessary for the Ss to do some extensive exercises after class to consolidate the knowledge they learned.
